Goulasharoni. Its a bit like goulash with macaroni


2 lbs minced beef 3 tsp minced garlic
1 large onion diced
500ml water
1/2 cup beef stock
1 tbs Olive oil for frying
1 can tomato sauce
2 cans diced tomatoes
1 tsp black pepper
2 or 3 tsp chilli flakes
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp basil
1/2 oregano
1/2 rosemary
1/2 thyme
2 tsp salt
3 tsp paprika
1 tsp caraway seeds

500ml curly macaroni

big handful of grated cheddar
2 blobs of mozzerella

How to make it:

Soften the onion in a large pan till beginning to brown

Add garlic and stir for a few mins

Add the mince and brown

Add everything except the cheese and pasta, mix well
Bring to boil
Turn down to a simmer and cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stir as necessary
Add in the uncooked macaroni and stir well until everything is combined
Cover and simmer for about 30 minutes
Check pasta is cooked
Add the cheddar and mix until combined
Tear chunks of mozzarella and sprinkle on top
Server with salad or garlick bread.
